For our Oxford office, we are looking for a Product Lead/Executive Producer who will lead an experienced games development team with a proven track record for shipping quality products. The successful candidate will have overall accountability for the creative vision of the game product and acts as the business leader who builds and motivates the team to accomplish their goals of shipping a high quality, hugely entertaining title on time and on budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop the creative logic of the game and build to a fully playable/shippable level- demonstrating the key attributes of the game (game play, technology, linkages to outside media)
• Expand the playable/shippable level to produce a full mobile title
• Grow the game into a successful franchise capable of multiple versions to generate revenue for the Company
• Effectively communicate the core experience of the game to other parts of the NM
• Lead specialist direct reports in Analytics, Quality Assurance, Artists, Animators, Designers, Programmers and other members of the production team to efficiently produce high quality work on time and on budget
• To negotiate and communicate development progress and secure approval for game direction from CEO and VP Games
• Accountable for incorporating monetization opportunities to maximise revenue generation and return on investment for the company
• Work with Chief Financial Officer to prepare accurate and reasonable project budgets and develop the game within that budget
• Sell the value of the game across NaturalMotion and the mobile gaming industry, including interviews & meetings with the press and external bodies
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 3+ years experience as a product lead, project manager or producer in game development
• Passionate about playing games, innovation, and about creating entirely new game experiences
• Possess strong analytical skills and having the ability to recognize monetization opportunities in free-to-play games
• Strong organisational, resource planning and budgetary management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and across other functions
• Proven track record of success in having shipped games which generated significant revenues
• Successfully led multi-skilled games development teams of more than ten people including programmers, designers and artists
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Product management experience in social, online and/or iOS/Android development space
• Knowledge of mobile technology and the potential application to games
• Have previous experience working with the SCRUM and Agile methodology
• Career pathway demonstrates experience in 1+ games development specialisms
• BA/BS degree or CS/EE/Engineering degree
